How to Make the Fartsle
There are many ways to make the fartsle. The easiest way is to use a plastic bag and fill it with air. Tie the top of the bag shut and hold it over your stomach. When you feel the urge to fart, let go of the bag and watch as it shoots up into the air.

In order to make your own fartsle, you first need to gather the necessary ingredients. For the frame, you will need a wooden board, a dowel rod, and some screws. The fartsle itself consists of two parts: a trap and a valve. To make the trap, you will need a small bowl or container and some cheesecloth or paper towels. You will also need a sharp knife to cut the cheesecloth into small strips. The trap should be wide enough to fit over your nose and mouth comfortably, but not so wide that it becomes difficult to breathe through. The cheesecloth strips should be long enough so that they hang down over both sides of the bowl. The purpose of the traps is to catch air bubbles as they are created during farting. To make the valve, you will need some plastic tubing and some hemispherical valves (available at most drugstores). Cut two pieces of tubing approximately 18 inches long and slide one piece onto each end of the dowel rod. Make sure that the ends of the tubing are capped with hemispherical valves. Now all you have to do is put it all together! To assemble your fartsle, first attach one end of the tubing to the trap on one side of the bowl, then attach the other end of tubing to the valve on the other side of the bowl (Figure 1).
